Postpartum In Home Care 8 Week Package

Service Description

For the first 8 weeks after you give birth I will be by your side each week to offer my ear for venting, shoulder to cry on, my reassurance when you need it, my support in your perfectly designed mothers intuition and skills in caring for newborn mothers plus Lactation Counselling. A postpartum doula's support is unique where my visits are different from those of friends and family, you don't have to make an effort when I visit - I am there for you and to assist in your rest and recovery! Most of all when I leave I'd like you to be feeling rested, refreshed and confident to face another week of raising your new babe. In this package I will visit you for 3 hours once a week for 8 weeks, with the option of adding on extra sessions if you feel you need more support. You will also receive: - One antenatal postpartum planning session - Nutritious and delicious main meals and snacks each session - Email or text support for the duration of the 8 weeks My visit is completely customisable and can include: - A general tidy up around the house/house reset - Helping you get the rest you need by watching older siblings, doing housework while babywearing, and helping tick off your to do list - General debriefing/emotional support, debrief of your birth - Listen to you and answer questions or concerns about personal care, new-born care, food, breast or bottle feeding, etc. - Assess a feeding and make any adjustments to ensure maximum comfort and success for you and baby - Demonstrate how to use any baby carriers and breast pumps safely and confidently - Guidance on biologically normal infant behaviours around feeding, sleep and settling - Education on newborn care, sleep, settling, formula feeding, bottle feeding, breastfeeding and more! The options listed above are varied and can be mixed and matched to best utilise my skills and knowledge in a way that also meets your needs, wants and circumstances. Most of all I am a mother caring for mothers and bring encouragement, reassurance and sisterhood. After booking and payment, you will receive an email containing my client contract, service agreement, fee schedule and release forms for you to look over, sign and book. Travel Fees Included in Invoice - If I am to travel outside of Wagga Wagga to another town, travel will be charged at a fee of $30 per hour and $0.50c per km. - Travel to the outer suburbs of Wagga Wagga (Forest Hill, Estella, Gobbagombalin) will incur a travel fee of $15

Cancellation Policy

Deposit Upon Booking a) The client agrees that upon purchase of services, a 50% non-refundable deposit is acquired at the time of contract acceptance and following the clients payment. This deposit applies to your total services purchase and secures your booking. Your service is not active and booking spot not held until deposit is made. b) Deposit can be made via payment plan and will be set to an amount paid weekly or fortnightly as per the table below. Your booking spot will not be official via payment instalments until 50% of your total service fee has been reached. Thereafter the total outstanding balance remaining after deposit via payment instalments, is required by 36 weeks gestation. Dulcie Lane will invoice for the outstanding amounts. d) You will receive one overdue notice for failure to pay. e) Thereafter failure to pay the remaining outstanding balance will cause all contracts to cease and any services booked cancelled. The 50% non-refundable deposit will be retained.
